Since I have two nephews due to baptized in October, I figured I'd get started on doing baptism announcements (you know, in case my sisters are interested in doing such a thing). I immediately contacted my favorite local photographer and my talented sister-in-law, Deborah Andreasen, for a picture to use with this design. As luck would have it she just did a baptism photo shoot and the mother graciously allowed me to use the photos.
One of my favorite things about this design is the color scheme. I wanted to use some bright colors for the background and then incorporate them into the rest of the invite while still preserving some formality. I think it turned out well as a mix of both youthfulness and a formal event.
